Explore the many aspects of rock and pop music with our 2 day rock and pop workshops.

Sessions include:

  • song-writing
  • band rehearsals
  • live sound
  • sound checking

The workshops are led by professional players and teachers.

You do not have to be a member of an existing band to attend this workshop however we also welcome established bands.

Where 

The Centre for Music, Bayswater Road, Headington, OX3 9FF 

What to bring

Everyone will need:

  • pencil
  • a little money for refreshments (including tuck shop)
  • packed lunch.

All attendees are responsible for the electrical safety of their own equipment - please bring a circuit breaker to plug into. 

Drummers: You will need to bring your kit, sticks, brushes and a mat or piece of carpet to set up on (if you have one). 

Keyboard players: Your keyboard, power supply, and amplifier (if possible). 

Bassists and guitarists: Your guitar, guitar strap, amplifier, power cable, guitar cable (plus a spare if you have one), plectrums and an electronic tuner (if you have one). 

Singers: Your voice and a pad or notebook to write lyrics in.
